In order to fill the vacuum
Leaving the crowd behind,
and then,
passing through
mountains, forests, rivers and deserts
I sit down on a rock,
rotate with earth
under the sky, the moon and infinite stars
in search of the vacuum in me,
I keep wandering,
passing through cosmos.
On different stages of my life
in order to escape from the vacuum,
the unknown effort
to fill the vacuum of adolescence
with innocent love;
the effort
to fill the vacuum of youth
with dreams;
the futile effort
to fill the vacuum of adulthood
with relationships;
the effort
to hide the vacuum of social existence
with money and power;
the effort
to fill the vacuum of human existence
with idealism;
the effort
to fill the vacuum of the world
with politics, religion and philosophy;
the effort
to fill the vacuum of the whole life
with unending struggle,
sometimes with tears,
sometimes with smile.
From childhood to the old age,
everyone is engaged
in the incessant effort
to fill the vacuum.
But, the vacuum of inside
can’t be filled up
from outside.
Standing alone
on the last threshold of the universe,
I come to realize
that
zero can be fulfilled with zero only.
One can realize the whole,
only by merging one’s silence
in that infinite silence.
