(This was one of a series of lectures given to Michael and Jane during their Scottish holiday in May 2009. Unfortunately the Big Indian had to repeat the lecture when it was realised that the digital recorder hadn’t been switched on the first time around)
The Big Indian: A number of souls expect, upon their transition, to find themselves in front of the ‘Pearly Gates’ of lore - and so they do because they have created that expectation during their time on Earth.
The Pearly Gates as pearlescent wrought iron gates do not exist (except in people’s perception) but they are a metaphor for something far deeper that does exist and - if you think about it - the Pearly Gates are a barrier; they are a perceived barrier between the person who has died and made their transition and Heaven. In myth the person usually has to answer a question or pass a test successfully in order to pass through those gates to the higher side of life.
They are a metaphor in that they represent a truth because, if you consider it, a soul’s vibration has to match the vibration of a particular spiritual sphere before it can gain admittance, as it were, to that particular sphere. Until that soul has reached a similar level of vibration to the sphere that it wishes to enter it cannot gain entry as there is a barrier between it and the place that it wants to live in.
So, a number of souls expect to see the Pearly Gates when they pass over …and they do and we have to put on an elaborate ‘play act’ to greet them at those gates. I have on several occasions (as have my colleagues) been mistaken for St Peter because to many Christian minds that is whom they expect to see stood in front of them to either let them in or prevent them from entering into Heaven. Of these souls, some have sufficiently high vibration (and yet not instant recognition of the fact due to their religious upbringing) that they can pass through. So we allow them to pass through the gates of their imagination and to reside in that higher sphere where their soul memory is returned to them and they realise that their entry was a little ‘embarrassing’ - which is why I am laughing. On other occasions we are faced with souls who have not yet reached the level of vibration necessary to dwell in a sphere that their soul is magnetically attracted to. Then we have to gently and with love turn them away from those gates and place them in the hands of others -helpers, guides and loved ones - who can gently reassure them and take them to an altogether better place than the Earth plane and instruct them as to the steps necessary for them to enter that higher level (either through further experience on Earth or through endeavours on the spirit side of life) that will allow their personal vibration, their individual expression of being, to speed up to the point where they can move through that mythical barrier, which is an actual barrier on a metaphysical level.
Of course all worlds are created by souls. Your world, your society, is created by limitless souls with regards to the number of souls who have incarnated on Earth pouring their beliefs into the Field and strengthening that Field via that belief [ref. to mankind’s collective consciousness]. Within the greater Field (as you know) there are the individual fields, the individual beliefs, the individual worlds, and when people are faced with the Pearly Gates we seek to break through that individual belief and introduce them into a greater world. It is easier for us to reach them through a higher field of being, through a shared concept, through a shared construct, rather than the limitation of the individual world that they may have clung on to and believed in for so many years. So, if we have to turn them away from the barrier, we pray that they will soon be reintroduced into a group consciousness rather than drawing energies from an individual consciousness, which may hold back their spiritual progress.
I am sorry that the device did not function as it should have done; it was Michael who pressed the wrong key because he is tired. I hope through his flagging ability this evening I have inspired you sufficiently to use the words that I have given you as one of your ‘snippets’ of information entitled (I would hope): Pearly Gates. It is not always the order of words, as you know, that conveys the knowledge but the Light behind the words and I feel, I think, that I have reiterated myself to the extent that you can order a piece of information from my communication.
