Welcome to July!
For me … the middle of winter … for others the middle of summer … either way we wake up to a brand new day … and how will we choose to conduct it? I took a walk earlier and asked to be inspired for a subject for this newsletter. The sun shone on the sea and there really was no better place I would rather be. However I caught myself crossing over in my mind between that space of BEING and simply giving thanks at the awesome sight before me, to finding myself swamped in a sea of ‘Where am I going? What’s in store? Is there a store? How far away is it? And which direction? ... and where indeed did I put that map!!!
Then I went back to the boat downstream scenario ... the Trusting scenario.... the All is as should be scenario ... and came into a more accepting space within myself. It occurred to me that if when I got into bed tonight an angel appeared and said ‘Time’s up Bloss, you’ve got ten minutes to collect your thoughts and then you’re out of here’ … how would I be viewing my last day on earth? Yes I have things that must be done today … so not knowing that it actually was my last day … would I want to look back knowing that I had spent it in joy … whatever it was I was doing? … I think so. I would be able to leave with an accepting heart rather than a disgruntled one.
There is so much we can do to assist ourselves and others just by our attitude. I am not wishing to tell my grandmother how to suck eggs here … if I had a grandmother she would be 90/10 and why on earth would she suck eggs anyway? … But you surely know what I mean. I feel I go on and on about the same thing … I guess because I feel it is so important. We need reminding to create a space of joy in every minute of every day. It can be done … no matter what your circumstance. And one is not always so blessed as to be around folk who know of such things in order to keep one’s spirits up.
The Federation have spoken lately of what lies ahead for us in 2012. Yet it seems we could each write our own book. The same way as we could now. We live in the same world yet each of us has a different view depending on how we choose to see it. They are saying it is imperative to focus on the LOVE and LIGHT in order to move into a world that is OF it. If we remain stuck in a world that is of gloom and doom that is because we have chosen to focus on it.
Yes, for many pennies are tight … but not so tight that they have the power to squeeze all life out of you. At the end of the day … it is not the pennies that bring you joy … it’s the power we give them that make us believe they bring us joy. Yet, even if we had to live on a park bench and eat scraps … which some folk ‘choose’ to do … we can still laugh and we can still Love and we can still make the most of every moment … depending on how we choose to BE in it. And yet, some have more ‘paper energy’ than they know what to do with and do not understand how to laugh and Love and Live.
If suddenly EVERYTHING that we call 'material' vanished … what would YOU BE WORTH? How WORTHY do you consider yourself to be … of yourself? What value do you put on yourself? Think about that for a while. Remove everything that you consider of value in the material world and imagine yourself without anything other than the clothes you stand up in … WHO ARE YOU? And more important … do you like what you FEEL about yourself … stripped of everything … other than WHO YOU ARE. That is all you would have to offer to others … yourself... What actually is it you have to offer? …. ? … ? … LOVE … for that is ALL you have. That is ALL you are. IT COSTS NOTHING!
I FEEL this is what 2012 is all about. Letting go of old values which are of no value at all. Coming face to face with each other without one’s bank account making a difference as to how one is perceived … making a difference as to how one interacts with another. That must become a thing of the past surely. No class barriers. No judging of another because of what they have or haven’t got. Take it all away and what are you left with? … The Truth of who you are. And in/of that Truth … do you think you will shine brightly? … Have you allowed yourself to KNOW of that Light within you? Or do you hide it away for fear of not BEING good enough?
There is nothing that anyone should have to prove to anyone. For if we ceased the judging there would be no need to feel one had to prove. We … in our days ahead … are working towards dropping all those niggly little insecurities about what others may or may not think about us, and are understanding more and more of who we are … what we are about … and what we are about, as we ‘get it’ is awesome !! It’s stuff that dreams are made of. For we are our dreams are we not?
As we bring the joy through … we can FEEL it transform our world into its Newness … The old days with their old ways are through … over … done … dusted. What once was able to thrive and feed itself on the negativity that abided … is now finished. It cannot survive … for we The Light Bringers have made sure of that. We are doing what we came here to do.
Turn the Light switch back on!!!
